What does TALC offer for an ESL/ELL learner?
Basic English speaking, reading, and writing

Assistance with understanding forms, directions, menus, etc. that are in English

What do I need to do to learn English with TALC?
You must live in Pierce County or the surrounding area
You must be 18 years or older
You must complete the Waiver of Liability Form
You must then complete the Registration Form
You must commit to meeting at least once a week with your tutor
You must commit to meeting your tutor continuously for at least six months

Register
After you submit the Waiver, you will see a Registration form. You can select Private Tutoring (meet with a Tutor by yourself) or Group Classes (join others at any time in an ongoing class) or both. All of these services are free!
Please note that we have a long waiting list for Private Tutoring. There is no waiting list for our classes!
