What does TALC offer for an ESL/ELL learner?

What do I need to do to learn English with TALC?

  • You must live in Pierce County or the surrounding area

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must complete the Waiver of Liability Form

  • You must commit to meeting at least once a week with your tutor

  • You must commit to meeting your tutor continuously for at least six months

Private Tutoring or Group Classes?

Private Tutoring

We offer group classes for English language learners. You get instruction in speaking, reading, and writing in English at a beginning to intermediate level. You also get to practice conversation with your tutor and other learners, and make friends with people in your community. We currently offer classes in Sumner and Parkland.

Classes are ongoing so learners may start attending at any time. This is a free service!
